From the arrival of a prisoner, the film shows activities of the inmates, including the processing procedures, life in a typical cell, meals, and jobs and activities such as the garment shop, the laundry, the machine shop, the dairy, the farm, the library and print shop, the chapel, and the orchestra. Silent with title frames.
