Amateur 16mm home movie footage shows the raising of the "Sower" statue to the top of the Nebraska State Capitol building, which is under construction. Footage shows rigging the statue on the ground and the raising of the statue to the inside of the tower dome. The 35-foot-high, 8 1/2- ton statue was lifted 350 feet into the unfinished dome of the building. It took three days to rig the statue, and only about 15 minutes to raise it.
