The History of District 8 names pioneer settlers in the district and describes the locations and construction of the schoolhouses built and then replaced through the years. Some of the teachers who served the district are named, and the beginnings of the village of DuBois is described. This folder includes a photograph of the wood frame, two-story schoolhouse in use in 1917.
