Letters and transcript to the American Volga Relief Society from Andreas Alberg and Georg B. and Mathilde Sturtz. The letter from Alberg, dated November 18, 1923, describes the conditions in Hannovka, including the number of inhabitants, widows, orphans, and livestock before and after the war, and asks for aid. The letter from the Sturtzes is to Daniel Freund in Bowton, North Dakota. The transcription is an English translation.
