This history discusses how District #29 was founded in 1860, how it was closed during the Civil War and then reopened. The first schoolhouse was sold and moved. The second schoolhouse and its contents were destroyed by a tornado, then rebuilt. The history lists past teachers and significant renovations to the school. There is a photograph of the school on the title page. The history was prepared by Eden K. Drake.
