Description: This is an exterior photograph of a baseball team from the U.S. Government Indian School in Genoa, Nebraska. The photograph appears on the front of a standard American style post card with a postmark date of August 12, 1907. The image shows eleven young men - ten in baseball uniforms (i.e., players) and one in civilian attire (i.e., presumably the team's manager) - on a dirt field in front of the two wooden fences. The eleven men are positioned in two rows, with seven individuals standing in the back row and four individuals sitting crossed legged in the front row. All of the six players standing in the back row have their arms folded across their chests, while the presumed team manager has his arms folded behind his back.
