Interview conducted by Karen Nelson in 1974 with P.B. Herrold who was stationed at Fort Robinson from 1940 to 1945 and again as a civilian from 1946 to 1947. Herrold recalled living in Crawford with his wife, social activities, and driving trucks to the prisoner of war camp.
