This history describes how Tate School began classes in the home of Mr. John Hansbury in 1876. It lists past teachers to 1917, gives enrollment counts by year and recounts a number of holiday programs and fundraisers held by the students. Among the pages are two hand-drawn maps, one of the Tate community and one of the district, both showing locations of students' homes
